Early learning brand and website case study, Kingscliff
The website recruited educators, not just families.
Bossy Boots Early Learning Centre, Kingscliff. A thirty year old centre under new ownership, in a market that had got a lot more crowded.

Where Candis started
Bossy Boots has been a trusted name in Kingscliff since 1995. When Candis took over, there was no logo, no brand kit and a dated website parents found hard to use, just as more centres were opening nearby.
Locals already knew the centre, but new families moving to the area had nothing to go on. A growing centre also has two groups to win over: parents choosing care, and educators choosing where to work. The old site spoke to neither.
What we did
01
Built a brand identity that modernised the look while keeping the warmth the centre was already known for
02
Designed the site around how a parent actually decides: the facilities, the philosophy, and booking a tour
03
Built search foundations so families new to the area could find the centre at all
04
Provided a three month content plan so the new brand had a consistent voice after handover

What changed
Parents could navigate it, which turned into more enquiries and more tour bookings. Then the part nobody plans for: the site started attracting educators too. Candis hired new staff who had found the centre through the website.
A brand that reads clearly to the people you want to serve tends to read clearly to the people you want to hire.

“Hayley was great, very prompt, and professional, always giving me confidence in the process. Before working with WQ Creative, I didn't have a logo, brand kit, or website, so I needed their help so much. My website has not only been a great resource for families, but we have also hired new educators because our website is so beautiful and reflects our business so much.”
