Makeup artist brand and website case study, Gold Coast
From hobby-budget enquiries to booking brides.
Makeup by Kirsty, Gold Coast. A genuinely talented artist whose website was drawing exactly the wrong clients.

Where Kirsty started
Kirsty is a talented bridal and event makeup artist, but her DIY website didn't show it. In her words, it looked a bit preschool. There was no way to book online, so everything was done by hand.
It also kept bringing in people shopping for the cheapest price. People decide what you're worth before they message you, and her old site was setting the wrong price point while the bridal work she loves went elsewhere.
What we did
01
Repositioned the business around bridal and event work rather than makeup in general
02
Built a brand that looks the way her work looks, so the site stopped quietly undercutting her prices
03
Replaced the manual back and forth with a structured booking flow that captures what she needs upfront
04
Led with her real story, the performing arts training and the decade in fitness, because it explains how she works

What changed
The site now leads with bridal and event work, tells her real story, and turns booking into a guided flow instead of a manual back and forth. It presents her as the premium choice rather than inviting a price comparison.
A site built to present her as the premium choice, answer a bride's questions, and take bookings without a spreadsheet.
